The US healthcare insurance industry suffers from a lack of trust among its audiences. Blue Shield of California wanted to prove to their members that they were committed to their needs. Through customer research, a new responsive site and mobile app experience was redesigned focused on users top tasks. The goal was simple: remove the confusion to give what matters back to their members: time.

Following the redesign, we helped BSC plot the future of digital for healthcare. Through several projects and pilot programs, a path was set in place to change the health insurance landscape from transaction in nature to guiding members health interactions.
